EN_Field season has begun for the SEArch #h2020 project! Starting with seaweed collection in the rock pools near the prehistoric shell middens of the Cape St. Vincent region (Algarve, Portugal) to build a reference collection. The low tides and good weather helped our task! These seaweeds will integrate the reference materials to the study of archaeological samples for paleoenvironmental and use of marine plants reconstruction.
PT_Iniciam-se os trabalhos de campo no projeto #2020 SEArch! Começamos com uma recolha da algas nas poças de maré da costa rochosa onde se situam os concheiros pré-históricos da região do Cabe de São Vicente, no Algarve. A maré baixa e o bom tempo estiveram a nosso favor! Estas algas integrarão a coleção de referência no estudo de amostras arqueológicas para a reconstrução paleoambiental e dos usos de plantas marinhas.
